Ah, but technically Bush is running as his policies and the nation's subsequent displeasure with much of what has happened drives this election. It's smart for both sides to recognize the role that Bush plays in the election and play off of that.

John McCain is a joke. He talks for 3 months about how Obama hasn't been to Iraq for years, then when Obama goes, he talks about how it was a bad idea for Obama to goto Iraq. I mean come on folks. Republicans are grasping at straws. They are trying to call Obama a flip-flopper because it worked against John Kerry. Too bad John McCain is the biggest flip-flopper of all, so it won't work.
